Music & Choir

Music is an integral and exciting part of life at Fort Garry United Church

The Senior Choir consists of 25+ talented and hard working men and woman who share their talents, vocally and instrumentally every Sunday. They are dedicated, full of fun, and a very welcoming group of people. Many members have been singing with this wonderful choir for many years, some since childhood, which is a huge testament to the quality and enjoyment of the group. We love to sing and love to have fun as well—we are like family!

Under the direction of Helen Bergen, our accomplished director, organist and pianist, you can hear brass, guitar, djembe drums, flute, clarinet, French horn, cello, violin or a string quartet in worship. From Bach, Mozart and Brahms through Britten and Rutter, to praise and worship songs or Broadway, the choir shares their love of music to enhance the hour of worship.
